Photo courtesy of Trillanes&#8217; Facebook page.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA \u2013 In a television interview, Makati City Representative Mar-Len Abigail Binay said that she would attend the Senate hearing should she be invited in place of her father who is facing corruption allegations against him.<\/p>\n<p>Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, who initiated the Senate blue ribbon subcommittee hearings on the anomalies, rejected the offer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI really wish we need her but we don\u2019t. Ang kailangan naming humarap ay yung tatay nya (The person we need to face is her father),\u201d Trillanes said.<\/p>\n<p>Trillanes also disclosed that the Senate will also be looking at Representative Binay\u2019s alleged share of anomalies on her pork barrel funds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trillanes cannot be VP Binay\u2019s running mate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Representative Binay asserted that she would welcome anyone as running mate of her father in the May 2016 national elections, except Trillanes.<\/p>\n<p>To this, Trillanes answered that he was not interested to run alongside Vice President Binay anyway.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s juvenile.
