MANILA \u2013 Actor Bret Jackson admitted that his busy schedule caused his break up with actress Andi Eigenmann. He also said that he\u00a0had recently lost communication with her. The two had dated for several months.<\/p>\n

\u201cAndi and I broke up. It\u2019s been a month or two,\u201d Bret said in an interview, clarifying that neither he nor Andi were \u2018bitter\u2019 towards each other. \u201cWe’re not talking\u00a0not because [we\u2019re] bitter or something. It\u2019s just that lately, ang daming work (there\u2019s a lot of work). Super busy lately.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe talked about it. We were together, and then it\u2019s over now. Pero friends pa rin kami (But we\u2019re still friends),\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

When asked what his thoughts were if Andi and ex-boyfriend Jake got back together, Bret only said that he would be okay with it.<\/p>\n

Amidst the separation, Bret had been thankful for the projects lined up before him. These came after the success of his film \u201cYour Place or Mine.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHappy ako ngayon kasi I got my first endorsement, ang daming blessings na dumating\u00a0 (I\u2019m happy now because I got my first endorsement, a lot of blessings came),\u201d said the actor, who has an upcoming show with TV5, \u201cWattpad Presents: Hot and Cold.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aside from the cause of the break up,\u00a0Bret also revealed that he had\u00a0a crush on co-star Ella Cruz whom he had an \u2018instant connection\u2019 with.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been a long time since I\u2019ve seen Ella, parang mga 3 years. We were in Star Magic together that time. I saw her again in our taping and I said, \u2018Hi!\u2019 Parang may connection agad kami. Yung mga taping days, it was so good talaga. We just had a super good connection,\u201d he said, adding that he finds Ella beautiful.<\/p>\n
