MANILA — President Aquino said that he is still in talks with individuals who can continue the reforms he started.<\/p>\n

In an interview aired today by Bombo Radyo, Aquino said that there are only a few slots left in the administration’s senatorial slate.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn my list, there are many openings still but the number of people applying for these openings are about 5 times more than that,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

While Aquino said that there are only two slots left and that 10 of the candidates were already chosen, he refused to mention their names.<\/p>\n

“The problem is if I mention any now, those that won’t be mentioned will call me from today until election day,” he joked.<\/p>\n

The president added that the final list of the candidates he will be endorsing for next year’s election is yet to be finalized.<\/p>\n

Aquino is also eyeing for Grace Poe adding that she has the same views and directions as his administration’s.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe believe she has the right views, or is going in the right direction.
\nIt\u2019s important for me to maintain the coalition with the same results as 2013,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He also refused to mention anything about the position he discussed with Poe during their meeting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
