In a television interview, Manny Pacquiao\u2019s mother, Dionisia \u201cMommy D\u201d Pacquiao shared her frustration over her son\u2019s defeat against Floyd Mayweather Jr.<\/p>\n

\u201cSa nakita ko kagabi, hindi mabuti. Ako mismo nga eh nakakita na pagsuntok ng anak ko, lumipad si Mayweather. Malakas si Manny pero hindi lang niya napabagsak \u2018yun,\u201d Mommy D recalled.<\/p>\n

(From what I saw last night, it was not [a good fight]. I myself saw how my son punched, and how Mayweather was drawn back. Manny\u2019s strong but he just wasn\u2019t able to knock him down.)<\/p>\n

When asked about what she thought of Mayweather\u2019s boxing style and technique, Mommy D could only joke that he fought like a woman.<\/p>\n

\u201cNarinig ko habang nagdasal ako sa upuan ko, may narinig ako, \u2018Bakla! Parang babae talaga nagsuntok\u2019,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

(I heard [a comment] while I was praying in my seat, I heard [someone say] \u2018Gay! He\u2019s really like a woman when he punches\u2019.)<\/p>\n

Brought by her anger and frustration on how the fight went, there were several times when Mommy D wanted to enter the ring and punch Mayweather herself.<\/p>\n

\u201cKagabe, pagsigaw ko, \u2018Bagsakin mo na! Ako ang aakyat diyan. Ako ang aakyat,\u2019 sabe ko,\u201d she shared. \u201cNagalit ako kasi marumi siya. Makasuntok si Manny, yakapin niya. Nasaktan naman siya. Nakita ko nasaktan si Mayweather eh. Niyakap niya mga kamay [ni Manny para hindi si Manny makasuntok.]\u201d<\/p>\n

(Last night, I shouted, \u2018Knock him down! I\u2019ll go into the ring myself. I\u2019ll go in [and fight]\u2019, I said. I got angry because he fought dirty. When Manny punches him, he holds [Manny\u2019s arms for defense.] He got hurt still. I saw Mayweather got hurt still. He held Manny\u2019s arms so that Manny couldn\u2019t punch.)<\/p>\n

\u201cSa likod, nakita ko talaga, ang mga kamay ni Mayweather, sinuntok ang likod ng anak ko. Sabe ko, \u2018Referee! Referee!\u2019 Wala. Hindi napakinggan,\u201d she added. \u201cFoul \u2018yan! Foul! Pero walang record sa kanilang nilagay na foul \u2018to.<\/p>\n

(At the back, I really saw Mayweather\u2019s hands punching the back of my son. I said, \u2018Referee! Referee!\u2019 But nothing [was done]. I wasn\u2019t listened to. It was a foul! A foul! But there was no foul written in the record.)<\/p>\n

Despite Mommy D\u2019s rage, she said that she wouldn\u2019t take the fight personally against Mayweather should their paths cross.<\/p>\n

\u201cHindi naman ako marunong umaaway. Sa per play, per play lang. [Pero] kung makita ko siya [sasabihin kong], \u2018Nanalo ka sa daya mo\u2019,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

(I don\u2019t really argue [with people]. In the game, in the game only. But if I see him, I\u2019ll tell him, \u2018You won because you cheated.)<\/p>\n
