During their final press conference, eight-division world champion Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and five-division world champion and undefeated Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. both stressed that they were ready for their much-awaited boxing match on May 2 (May 3 in the Philippines) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn [Saturday], Floyd Mayweather faces a great challenge in Manny Pacquiao,\u201d Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe said. \u201cThis is the fight the world has been waiting to see.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pacquiao, for his part, reaffirmed his preparedness on the superfight.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have prepared hard for this fight and I believe Floyd has trained so hard so that we can entertain you on Saturday,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mayweather said that it was the time to fight the \u2018biggest fight in boxing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just want to let you know that everything I have accomplished, it is God who gave me the strength. I want to be an inspiration to everybody,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He went on recalling God\u2019s blessings in his life.<\/p>\n

\u201cI used to sleep in the street, starving, hungry. The Lord raised me and blessed me. I cannot imagine that boy who didn\u2019t have food and was sleeping in the street — that God gave me this life. I want to share that with everyone,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Pacquiao and Mayweather will again see each other in the weigh-in on Friday and then in the ring on Saturday.<\/p>\n
