MANILA — A Filipino man was injured when an explosion hit a building in Sana\u2019a, Yemen, the Department of Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Filipino, the DFA said, was taken to a hospital for treatment and subsequently released.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is now out of danger and is recuperating from his injuries,\u201d DFA spokesman Charles Jose said.<\/p>\n

Jose said no further details were available, except that the incident happened in the capital\u2019s Fajhateen district.<\/p>\n

As Yemen edges towards an all-out civil war, Manila ordered the mass evacuation of more than 800 workers in March.<\/p>\n

Since the evacuation started, the Philippine government was able to bring home 477 workers, but less than 400 have remained, defying threats to their security.<\/p>\n
