(Photo by Rey Baniquet \/ Malaca\u00f1ang Photo Bureau \/ PCOO)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA &#8212; President Benigno Aquino&#8217;s government net satisfaction rating dropped to its lowest, according to the latest poll results of the Social Weather Stations (SWS).<\/p>\n<p>In the latest result published by the BusinessWorld, Aquino government&#8217;s net satisfaction fell 15 points from a\u00a0\u201cgood\u201d +34 in December 2014 to a \u201cmoderate\u201d +19 in March 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Among 1,200 respondents who answered the survey, only 48 percent said they were satisfied with performance of Aquino&#8217;s administration.<\/p>\n<p>The figure is 10 points below the 58 percent who said they were in December, last year.<\/p>\n<p>Respondents who answered they were dissatisfied, meanwhile rose to 29 percent from last December&#8217;s 24 percent.<\/p>\n<p>The percentage of those undecided respondents also increased from 17 percent last December to 23 percent in the recent survey.<\/p>\n<p>The poll classifies ratings from\u00a0+70 and above as \u201cexcellent,\u201d +50 to +69 as \u201cvery good,\u201d +30 to +49 as \u201cgood,\u201d +10 to +29 as \u201cmoderate,\u201d +9 to \u2013 9 as \u201cneutral,\u201d \u2014 10 to \u2013 29 as \u201cpoor,\u201d \u2014 30 to \u2013 49 as \u201cbad,\u201d \u2014 50 to \u2013 69 as \u201cvery bad,\u201d and \u2014 70 and below as \u201cexecrable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, more issues in this year&#8217;s governance fell under the &#8220;neutral&#8221; performance rating classification.<\/p>\n<p>The issues include\u00a0fighting crimes (+9, from +5), rehabilitating areas damaged by conflict in Mindanao (+7, from ), fighting terrorism (+6, from +15), eradicating graft and corruption (+2, from +6), reconciliation with communist rebels (-3, from +17), reconciliation with Muslim rebels (-3, from +15) and fighting inflation (-8, from -12).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Moderate ratings&#8221; were also recorded for issues including\u00a0preparing for climate change (+29, from +31), defending the country\u2019s territorial rights (+22, from +40), telling the truth to the people (+15), restoring peace to Mindanao (+12), providing jobs (+11, from +17).<\/p>\n<p>The government also received &#8220;good&#8221; ratings for issues including\u00a0helping victims of disasters (remained at +42), helping the poor (+34, from +33), promoting the welfare of overseas Filipino workers (+34, from +38), protecting the environment (+32) and foreign relations (+30, from +33).<\/p>\n<p>Aquino&#8217;s administration, however, received &#8220;poor&#8221; satisfaction ratings for\u00a0ensuring that no family will ever be hungry (-11, from -9) and ensuring oil firms don\u2019t take advantage of oil prices (-13, from -8).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA &#8212; President Benigno Aquino&#8217;s government net satisfaction rating dropped to its lowest, according to the latest poll results of &hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":44,"featured_media":42664,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[95],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-47349","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-news-ph","mauthors-lei-fontamillas","mauthors-philippine-canadian-inquirer"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/47349","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/44"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=47349"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/47349\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/42664"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=47349"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=47349"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=47349"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
