Wikipedia photo<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA &#8212; Malaysian travel agents tagged Boracay as the best beach destination for the year.<\/p>\n<p>The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Matta) declared it as the\u00a0\u201cFavorite Beach Destination 2015,&#8221; according to the Philippine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.<\/p>\n<p>Boracay was praised by Matta organizing committee chair\u00a0Jayakumar S. Sinnadurai commending its rich natural resources and biodiversity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is our pleasure that Malaysians discover the island, with its pristine white sands and breathtaking beaches, which captivate many visitors for nature tripping, water sports and beach hopping,\u201d Ambassador J. Eduardo Malaya said.<\/p>\n<p>The embassy also launched\u00a0the \u201cSecond Ambassador\u2019s Tour to the Philippines,\u201d inviting Malaysians to visit Cebu and Bohol.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA flurry of festivals, concerts, conferences and other events will draw both domestic and foreign tourists.
