Ramon &#8216;Bong&#8217; Revilla Jr.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA, Philippines\u2015 As expected, emotions ran high when detained Senator Ramon \u201cBong\u201d Revilla Jr. visited his son, Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla, at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Muntinlupa City on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m sorry, Papa. I\u2019m sorry,\u201d the younger Revilla said, as his father hugged him.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking in a televised press conference, Atty. Raymond Fortun, spokesperson of the Revillas, recounted the events of the meeting as follows: that \u201cSenator Revilla entered the room and he saw his son. He was lying on the bed. The senator hugged Jolo. Jolo said \u2018I\u2019m sorry, Papa, I\u2019m sorry\u2019 to which he replied, \u2018it\u2019s all right, son, you have to be strong.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fortun also said that there has been no improvement in Jolo\u2019s condition, detailing that the vice governor\u2019s left lung has collapsed; a condition known as pneumothorax . He is also battling a fever, and has had a total of 800 cc of blood extracted from his system.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s (Jolo) in a lot more pain now than yesterday,\u201d Fortun added.<\/p>\n<p>Jolo was rushed to the hospital on Saturday afternoon, on account of what was initially thought to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest.
