MANILA \u2013 Heartthrob singer-actor Sam Concepcion said that a producer\u2019s \u201cfailure to fulfill contractual obligations\u201d led to the cancellation of his February 26 concert, which was supposed to have been held at a school in San Miguel, Bulacan.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to inform the public that my show in Bulacan, which was scheduled last February 26, 2015, did not push through due to the event producer\u2019s failure to fulfill his contractual obligations,\u201d Concepcion said, in a statement sent to \u201cThe Buzz.”<\/p>\n

\u201cI regret the inconvenience the cancellation may have caused the public in general and my student fans in particular,\u201d he added in the statement.<\/p>\n

According to an investigation conducted by \u201cThe Buzz,\u201d the show\u2019s producer, a certain Stanley Delos Santos, told the people in Bulacan that he worked for TV network ABS-CBN. As it turns out, however, the network has no such employee.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Buzz\u201d also discovered that not only did Delos Santos fail to coordinate with the authorities in charge of the concert venue; he likewise failed to secure the necessary permits for the event.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the same producer had slated a concert of \u201cThe Voice Kids\u201d finalist Darren Espanto, which was supposed to take place before Concepcion\u2019s concert, but this did not push through, either.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Buzz\u201d made efforts to obtain Delos Santos\u2019 side regarding the cancellation of the concerts, but was unable to do so.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
