(Photo by Gil Nartea\/ Robert Vi\u00f1as\/ Rodolfo Manabat\/ Malaca\u00f1ang Photo Bureau)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA &#8212; Chief negotiator for the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), Mohagher Iqbal, finally appeared during the resumption of the Senate probe on the Mamasapano encounter.<\/p>\n<p>Iqbal&#8217;s earlier refusal of the Senate&#8217;s investigation annoyed several Senators involved in the\u00a0hearings of the Senate committee on public order, joint with committees on peace, unification and reconciliation, and finance conducted last Monday and Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of appearing in the hearing, Iqbal sent a letter dated Feb. 9 and addressed to Senator Grace Poe.<\/p>\n<p>He said in the letter that the MILF has accepted the invitation only that the appearance should be in an &#8220;executive session.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The move irritated several senators including Sen.
