Jinggoy Estrada on Monday has successfully blocked the testimony of an officer of the\u00a0Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) and the\u00a0report on the senator\u2019s bank records.<\/p>\n<p>For the third time around, Estrada was able to thwart the statements of\u00a0AMLC bank officer Orlando Negradas Jr.<\/p>\n<p>He was also able to block the presentation of the results of the investigation conducted into Estrada&#8217;s bank accounts.<\/p>\n<p>Hence, Estrada, who is currently detained for his involvement in the pork barrel scam, \u00a0successfully got another reprieve from the anti-graft court.<\/p>\n<p>During the resumption of the senator&#8217;s bail hearing, the Fifth Fivision of Sandiganbayan was requested to temporarily prohibit the prosecution from conducting\u00a0Negradas\u2019 direct examination.<\/p>\n<p>This is because Estrada&#8217;s camp will be seeking the court to reconsider their Feb. 2 ruling which junked the\u00a0detained senator&#8217;s motion against the AMLC report.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA &#8212; Sen.
