Romano V. Cardi\u00f1o, Police Provincial Office (PPO) Intelligence Branch (S-2) chief as Heng, Jeng and Boy Tattoo. All three managed to get away while being chased by operatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), PNP-Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force, PPO-S-2 and Imus police.<\/p>\n<p>Police pursued the suspects after the three had finished an illegal drug transaction with some buyers.<\/p>\n<p>According to Cardi\u00f1o, the suspects are part of a big drug ring which supplies shabu to Cavite.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIsang grupo sila na nagbabagsak ng shabu sa Cavite (They are [part of] one group which drops shabu in Cavite),\u201d he said<\/p>\n<p>Two vehicles were abandoned by the suspects; an Isuzu Crosswind, in which the umbrella base was found, and a Honda.<\/p>\n<p>A drug-sniffing dog from the K-9 Unit was employed to pinpoint where the contraband was hidden.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNaamoy ng K-9, nakita yung droga nang binasag yung semento ng umbrella base,\u201d (The K-9 smelled [the drugs], the drugs were found upon breaking open the cement umbrella base.)
