{"id":38538,"date":"2015-01-15T21:13:36","date_gmt":"2015-01-15T13:13:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/?p=38538"},"modified":"2015-01-15T21:13:36","modified_gmt":"2015-01-15T13:13:36","slug":"72-filipinos-trust-pope-francis-says-sws","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/2015\/01\/15\/72-filipinos-trust-pope-francis-says-sws\/","title":{"rendered":"72% Filipinos trust Pope Francis says SWS"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_38326\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-38326\" style=\"width: 220px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Pope_Francis_WikiPhoto-e1421304951993.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-38326\" src=\"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Pope_Francis_WikiPhoto-e1421304951993.jpg\" alt=\"Pope Francis (Wikipedia Photo)\" width=\"220\" height=\"171\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-38326\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Pope Francis (Wikipedia Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA \u2013 A recent survey conducted by Social Weather Stations (SWS) showed that seven out of 10 Filipinos have \u201cmuch trust\u201d in Pope Francis.<\/p>\n<p>The results, which were released on Wednesday, also showed that the trust ratings of the Pope increased among other major religions in the country.<\/p>\n<p>According to SWS, 72 percent of their respondents said that they have \u201cmuch trust\u201d in Pope Francis, while 12 percent had \u201clittle trust,\u201d resulting to a \u201cvery good\u201d 59 net satisfactory rating.<\/p>\n<p>The results were similar to the survey conducted last September 2013, six months after then Archbishop Jose Mario Cardinal Bergoglio of Buenos Aires was selected at the Vicar of Christ.
