Photo courtesy of Binay&#8217;s official Facebook page.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA \u2013 With only 16 months before the 2016 national elections, Senator Nancy Binay is expecting more barrage of accusations&#8211;her family, particularly Vice President Jejomar Binay, is ready and \u2018fully charged\u2019 to face their detractors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dWe were able to recharge during Christmas break. We are expecting more accusations now that the 2016 election is fast approaching but we are fully charged to face our enemies,\u201d Binay said in Senate media interview on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Binay made this reaction after Senator Antonio Trillanes IV disclosed that the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund) awarded housing projects and contracts with contractors allegedly identified with the Vice President who is the chairman of the Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees.<\/p>\n<p>Pag-IBIG Fund President and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Darlene Marie Berberabe has vehemently denied statements of Trillanes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dMy father is very careful in every transactions as chairman of the Housing sector because of the previous anomaly involving the Globe Asiatique. He really scrutinizes every document, especially the bidding,\u201d Sen. Binay said.<\/p>\n<p>Sen. Binay challenged the detractors of her family to show evidence that his father committed wrongdoings as concurrent chairman of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC).<\/p>\n<p>\u201dHe should show evidence that there is corruption,\u201d Sen.
