MANILA \u2013 More than bragging rights, eight-division champion Manny Pacquaio said that there are two reasons why he wants the fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. to happen.<\/p>\n

Through his Instagram account, Pacquiao posted a photo of him and Mayweather. He also shared that his son asked him to square off with the undefeated boxer just before he puts his gloves aside.<\/p>\n

“2 reasons I want the Mayweather fight. 1. My oldest son Jimuel. He asked me before my career is over to fight Floyd first. I don’t want my son to think of me as a coward,” the caption read.<\/p>\n

Moreover, Pacquaio also believes that the boxing world deserves to witness the long-awaited match between the two.
\n“The Fans. It is what everyone wants. I am going to do everything in my power to make the fight happen. God Bless!\u201d said Pacquaio.<\/p>\n

Recently, Mayweather surprised everybody by finally agreeing to fight Pacquiao on May 2, 2015.<\/p>\n

\u201c[I] Absolutely [want the fight]. I would love to fight Manny Pacquiao. We tried to make the fight happen years ago. We had problems with random blood and urine testing. Like I said, I just want an even playing field,\u201d said Mayweather in a video released over the weekend.<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cFloyd Mayweather isn’t ducking or dodging any opponent. Bob Arum is stopping the fight.
