Photo from Poe&#8217;s official Facebook page.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA \u2013 Senator Grace Poe said she is not considering highest position but whoever will be the next president, he should continue the straight path policy of President Benigno Aquino III.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dRight now, I\u2019m not considering any particular commitment except that I think, whatever the President has started, whoever will be the candidate should be able to continue that,\u201d Poe said in a media interview during the 10th death anniversary of her father, actor Fernando Poe Jr.<\/p>\n<p>Poe said the government has yet to fully wipe up graft and corruption but \u201cwe are getting there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201dWhen it comes to fighting corruption and upholding transparency in government, it is a process. We don\u2019t achieve it overnight,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dBut I think the best example is coming from the president. If you have president whom you can trust, that\u2019s already a big factor in discouraging corruption. So I think, yes, the President is keeping his promise,\u201d Poe added.<\/p>\n<p>When asked if the recent survey showing her big improvement from fourth to second of the possible presidential candidates in 2016, Poe believed that there are other people who have the desire and capability to be the next leader of the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dIn my case, I don\u2019t have to be on the top position. Wherever I am, all of us, wherever we are, we can help this straight and narrow path.
