(Photo by Ryan Lim \/ Malaca\u00f1ang Photo Bureau)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: 12.25pt; background: white;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">MANILA \u2013 Aside from the issues on the government\u2019s vaccination program, President Aquino wants Department of Health Secretary (DOH) Enrique Ona to answer \u201cthree to four\u201d other matters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: 12.25pt; background: white;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: 12.25pt; background: white;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">Ona is currently on leave while under investigation for allowing the procurement of pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) 10 contrary to what was advised of international health experts. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: 12.25pt; background: white;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: 12.25pt; background: white;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">The President said that there are three or four other items that he needs to check with Ona after the investigation on the vaccines. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: 12.25pt; background: white;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: 12.25pt; background: white;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">\u201cAnd if I remember correctly, at least two of those investigations have been concluded. I am waiting for my copy,\u201d he said but refusing to provide more details. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';\">Recently, Ona has been in the hot seat after news about the PCV 10 vaccines surfaced.
