(Photo courtesy of Mr. Romy Cayabyab)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Despite the rains on February 15, athousand Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) members, supporters, and friends participated in the Sydney leg of the \u201cWorldwide Walk\u201d held by the INC simultaneously around the globe that day. She thanked all the participants for spending their Saturday morning to raise funds for the construction of houses for families affected by typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) in Tacloban and its surrounding areas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3485\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3485\" style=\"width: 565px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Sydney-3.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3485\" alt=\"Consul General Louis (5th from left) with the Philippine Consulate staff and their family members who joined the walk. INC organized the walk which simultaneously took place in the Philippines, New Zealand, the United States and other countries in Europe and in Asia, in a bid to break the Guinness World Record for the largest charity walk in 24 hours on multiple sites.
