Bong Revilla on Wednesday claimed that \u201cunforeseen hands\u201d were involved in the Sandiganbayan\u2019s decision to junk his bail petition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe respect the decision of the court. We have to accept it. But we see unseen hands who meddled in this case,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>He also said in a statement that the Malacanang is only trying to make him its \u201ctrophy\u201d following the decision of the court which turned unfavorable to him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe decision was very different from what we had expected. It\u2019s really disheartening. Malaca\u00f1ang wants me to be its trophy,\u201d Revilla said in Filipino.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the anti-graft court\u2019s ruling, Revilla\u2019s fight is far from over.<\/p>\n<p>He said in the same statement that he will seek for a reconsideration of the court\u2019s decision on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Filled with hopes of being able to spend the holidays outside detention with his family, Revilla said he will still continue fighting for the bail petition.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the bail petitions of the senator\u2019s coaccused including alleged pork barrel scam mastermind, Janet Lim Napoles, and Revilla\u2019s former political aide, Richard Cambe, were also denied by the court.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA \u2013 Sen.
