I think Filipinos know what is in their best interest. I think Filipinos know what would be good choices,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Binay was recently stormed by corruption allegations for his alleged involvement in the questionable projects of the Makati City government during his term as the city\u2019s mayor.<\/p>\n<p>While he insisted that the allegations were not true, several questionable projects including the Makati City Hall Building II and the alleged ill-gotten property in Batangas are still a subject of senate investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Despite these allegations, political analysts still believe that it is unlikely that Roxas will still lose to Binay in the 2016 elections.<\/p>\n<p>It could be noted that the Interior Secretary lost to Binay in the vice presidential during the 2010 elections.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA \u2013 The idea of losing to Vice President Jejomar Binay is not what scares Interior Secretary Mar Roxas.
