{"id":33715,"date":"2014-12-04T18:28:18","date_gmt":"2014-12-04T10:28:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/?p=33715"},"modified":"2014-12-04T20:16:19","modified_gmt":"2014-12-04T12:16:19","slug":"thirteen-bacolod-policemen-suspended-in-rape-case-of-jogger","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/2014\/12\/04\/thirteen-bacolod-policemen-suspended-in-rape-case-of-jogger\/","title":{"rendered":"Thirteen Bacolod policemen suspended in rape case of jogger"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/shutterstock_216951910.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-30740\" src=\"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/shutterstock_216951910.jpg\" alt=\"rape\" width=\"500\" height=\"334\" srcset=\"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/shutterstock_216951910.jpg 500w, https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/shutterstock_216951910-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Thirteen policemen posted at the Community Police Assistance Center at the Bacolod Government Center (BGC) have been relieved from their duties reportedly due to their negligence in securing the BGC facility, in which a female jogger was raped.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the findings of Senior Police Officer 3 Arlyn Torrendon, the officer-in-charge of the Women and Children\u2019s Protection Desk of the Bacolod City police, the 20-year-old victim had been jogging around the government complex with some companions at around 9 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>She decided to use the toilet located at the building\u2019s annex, but while on her way to the toilet, a 27-year-old man identified as Charlie Ramos, a mechanic of a motor shop near the BGC, followed her and raped her inside the cubicle.
