Ferdinand &#8216;Bongbong&#8217; Marcos being interviewed at the Senate of the Philippines (Facebook photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA \u2013 Senator Ferdinand \u201cBongbong\u201d Marcos Jr. denied reports that his mother\u2019s office at the House of Representatives was raided for the confiscation of her art collection.<\/p>\n<p>Marcos dismissed the claims as \u201cmalicious\u201d adding that their doors are open and \u201call you have to do is to walk in.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHindi ko malaman kung saan galing \u2018yung report na \u2018yun. Wala namang nangyaring ganun. Wala namang pumunta du\u2019n. Wala namang nag-request na ganun, walang nag-raid, walang humingi ng\u00a0 permiso\u00a0 kay Speaker (Feliciano Belmonte). So I don\u2019t know where that report [came] from but there\u2019s no such thing,\u201d Marcos said in an interview over DWIZ.<\/p>\n<p>(I do not know where that report came from. No such thing happened. No one went there. No one requested for access, no one raided, and no one asked for the Speaker\u2019s permission. So I don\u2019t know where that report [came] from but there\u2019s no such thing.)<\/p>\n<p>Marcos also added that a raid was not necessary since the offices of his family are open to public anyway.<\/p>\n<p>The lawmaker was pertaining to the office of his mother, former First Lady and now Ilocos Representative, Imelda Marcos at the House of Representatives.<\/p>\n<p>He also added that even their provincial office is also open to the public, hence, there was no need for any raid.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAng opisina ng isang congressman nakabukas ang pinto n\u2019yan kahit sino pwedeng\u00a0 pumasok. Hindi na kailangang mag raid-raid. All you have to do is walk in. We keep our doors open because our people have to come in and be able to talk to us,\u201d the senator said.<\/p>\n<p>(A congressman\u2019s office is always office so anyone can come in.
