Photo courtesy of Aaron Favila.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA \u2013 Filipino peacekeepers\u2019 first full day in quarantine on Caballo Island were spent sleeping and relaxing.<\/p>\n<p>Returning from the Ebola virus-stricken Liberia, 133 Filipino peacekeepers were sent to the Caballo Island to undergo several days of quarantine.<\/p>\n<p>Lt. Col. Harold Cabunoc, Armed Forces of the Philippines public affairs office chief said the peacekeepers were also told to relax and rest following their long trip from Africa.<\/p>\n<p>To give them a good rest, no activities were scheduled on their first day, according to Cabunoc.<\/p>\n<p>He also added that their activities including gardening, will start on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey have no scheduled activities today (Thursday)\u2026 they slept all day to regain their strength after their long flight from Liberia,\u201d Cabunoc said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey will have routine calls, morning calisthenics or jogging\u2026 they will do gardening and some sports activities like chess.
