{"id":31203,"date":"2014-11-09T09:25:16","date_gmt":"2014-11-09T01:25:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/?p=31203"},"modified":"2014-11-10T05:33:08","modified_gmt":"2014-11-09T21:33:08","slug":"cooler-days-expected-as-amihan-comes-in-full-force","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/2014\/11\/09\/cooler-days-expected-as-amihan-comes-in-full-force\/","title":{"rendered":"Cooler days expected as \u201camihan\u201d comes in full force"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_15054\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15054\" style=\"width: 259px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/rainy.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-15054\" src=\"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/rainy.jpg\" alt=\"Wikipedia Photo\" width=\"259\" height=\"194\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-15054\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Wikipedia Photo<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA \u2013 Cooler days are expected in the coming days, as the \u201camihan\u201d or the northeast monsoon comes in full force at the start of the \u201ctropical winter\u201d months of November and December.<\/p>\n<p>The monsoon will also pave the way for lower temperatures in Luzon.<\/p>\n<p>The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) has recorded that since the arrival of \u201camihan,\u201d the lowest temperature recorded in Luzon is on the morning of Friday.<\/p>\n<p>For this month, Baguio City has recorded the coldest temperature last Friday with 12.4 degrees at around 5 a.m, while Metro Manila has recorded 19.7, 6.a.m. during the same day.<\/p>\n<p>The northeast monsoon went in full force as the Typhoon \u201cPaeng\u201d (International name Nuri) moved away from the country last week, according to senior forecaster Jori Loiz.<\/p>\n<p>He added that aside from the monsoon, wind direction can also affect temperature.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe temperature also depends on where the winds are coming from.
