Majority even stayed well after the last credit rolled, to actively participate in a 15-minute question-and-answer opportunity with actor Joel Saracho.\u00a0 The actor stood in Diaz\u2019 place, as the latter is currently in the thick of working on a new film in Manila.<\/p>\n<p>During the session with Saracho, the audience expressed their appreciation of film artistry. One Japanese fan commented that there was \u201cno forced moment\u201d in the movie.\u201d Another \u2013 who had also watched the director\u2019s film, \u201cNorte, Hangganan ng Kasaysayan\u201d at last year\u2019s festival \u2013 praised the director for the consistency of his work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s amazing that he got to make two long and wonderful films in just two years,\u201d the fan said.<\/p>\n<p>Diaz has won several international awards for his films; which often take on the issues surrounding the social and political state of the Philippines.
