However their affair takes a dangerous turn.<\/p>\n<p>The movie was written by Barbara Curry and produced by Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions, Lopez and Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas of Nuyorican Productions, Benny Medina of The Medina Company and John Jacobs of Smart Entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from Lopez and Guzman, it also stars John Corbett and Kristin Chenoweth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Boy Next Door\u201d is set to hit the local big screens in January 2015.
