Photo from Jake&#8217;s Instagram.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA \u2013 Jake Cuenca recently won the Best Actor Feature for the independent film \u201cMulat\u201d at the 2014 International Film Festival Manhattan in New York.<\/p>\n<p>Dianne Ventura, the film director, also won the award for Best Director for Global Feature.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is an amazing thing. You express something that you really believe in. Regardless of the fact that it makes money, regardless of the fact that people watch it,\u201d said Cuenca in his acceptance speech.<\/p>\n<p>He also posted this message in his personal Twitter account, \u201cNever won best actor in the Philippines.
