How do you know her? Are you together?\u201d\u2018<\/p>\n<p>Police said they followed proper protocol while investigating the 911 call and local civil rights activists demanded that Watts apologize for suggesting race played a role in the confrontation.<\/p>\n<p>Earl Ofari Hutchinson, who initially rallied behind the actress, said she \u201ccried wolf.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe take racial profiling very seriously,\u201d he told reporters last month. \u201cIt\u2019s not a play thing.
