MANILA — More flights to\/from Japan cancelled Monday due to bad weather caused by typhoon “Vongfong” in southwestern Japan.<\/p>\n

According to the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), among flights cancelled include 3K 763 (Kansai-Manila), and 3K 764 (Manila-Kansai).<\/p>\n

Both flights belong to Jet Star Airlines.<\/p>\n

Also cancelled was a Delta Air flight — DL 629 (Nagoya-Manila).<\/p>\n

Earlier, Philippine Airlines (PAL) also cancelled flights PR 438 (Manila-Nagoya), PR 408 (Manila-Kansai), and PR 432 (Manila-Narita).<\/p>\n

According to Japanese weather bureau reports, the typhoon has already injured dozens of people since it reached the Japanese mainland.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, two domestic flights were also cancelled due to bad weather.<\/p>\n

These flights were 5J 531 (Manila-Busuanga), and 5J 532 (Busuanga-Manila) of Cebu Pacific.<\/p>\n

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) earlier predicted MIMAROPA to experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.<\/p>\n

Palawan, where Busuanga is located, is a province which is part of the MIMAROPA region.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
