If you’re an old enough die-hard fan of Red Hot Chili Peppers, you would remember that they were supposed to play in Manila 12 years ago.<\/p>\n

Due to the Bali, Indonesia bombings at the time, RHCP cancelled their performance there, which also affected their Manila date as well.<\/p>\n

More than a decade later, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers finally perfomed at the 7107 International Music festival held in Clark, Angeles City, Pampanga on February 23, 2014.<\/p>\n

For a band that started in 1983\u2014yes, more than 30 years ago\u2014they remain powerful performers and amazing musicians (in spite of their recent Super Bowl half-time performance in which they admitted to fake playing to a pre-recorded track).<\/p>\n

At the festival, the band performed for one hour-and-a-half. They delighted with their classics “Can’t Stop,” “Under the Bridge,” \u201cCalifornication,\u201d “By the Way” and ended their encore performance with “Give It Away.”<\/p>\n
