Actor, singer, model, content creator, and businessman Richard Yap is now officially a Kapuso as he signed his management contract with GMA Artist Center (GMAAC) on December 16.<\/p>\n

Present during the contract signing were GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, GMAAC Assistant Vice President and Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing Unit Simoun Ferrer, GMAAC Senior Talent Manager Joy Marcelo, and Richard\u2019s co-manager Kate Valenzuela.<\/p>\n

Richard expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome, \u201cI\u2019m actually quite overwhelmed as I never thought this would come about. Now that it\u2019s finally here, I am just so happy and so thankful to become a part of the Kapuso family.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also teased his fans for a much-anticipated comeback on TV. As he begins his Kapuso journey, he will be starring in an episode of the well-loved comedy anthology \u2018Dear Uge Presents\u2019, in the late-night comedy-variety program \u2018The Boobay and Tekla Show\u2019 soon. He is also set to top-bill an upcoming primetime series next year.<\/p>\n

He also promised the audience that they can expect a lot from him in his new home, \u201cExpect the unexpected? I guess you can expect me to try and experiment into other genres other than the ones that I\u2019ve done before.\u201d<\/p>\n

Richard added that he is eager to work with various Kapuso stars including Marian Rivera, Heart Evangelista, Solenn Heusaff, Andrea Torres, his good friend Jean Garcia, and Michael V.<\/p>\n

During the contract signing, Rasonable is happy to share the news about the newest Kapuso, \u201cSiyempre, we\u2019re very happy, 10 days before Christmas, we have something really nice to impart to our viewers na mayroon tayong bagong member ng ating Kapuso family, ng GMA Artist Center. Next year, you can expect him to be on primetime, we\u2019re already cooking up a soap opera for him with our Kapuso artists.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Ferrer is delighted to welcome Richard to GMAAC and plans to further flourish the actor\u2019s career in the Network, \u201cWe are indeed thrilled to have Richard join our roster of talents as we\u2019re very aware of what he\u2019s capable of as an actor.
