Domingo &#8211; Own work, CC BY-SA 3.0<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The Commission on Elections (Comelec) announced on Friday that there will be no voter registration on the last four holidays of the year.<\/p>\n<p>In an advisory, the poll body said all its offices nationwide will be closed on Dec. 25 (Christmas Day) and Dec. 30 (Rizal Day), both regular holidays and on Dec. 24 and 31,<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere will be no voter registration on the remaining special (non-working) days and regular holidays of the year, pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 845, s. 2019,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n<p>It added that there would be no transactions with the public, including the issuance of voter\u2019s certification, as all offices of the Commission on Elections nationwide will be closed on these dates.<\/p>\n<p>The last day of voter registration for this year is on Dec. 29.
