(File photo: Juliana Kozoski\/Unsplash)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Report suggests there are 29 countries whose most popular destination for moving abroad is Canada<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since many of us are in lockdown, there has been a surge in Google searches for all sorts of search terms: \u201csourdough bread,\u201d \u201cyoga mats,\u201d \u201chow to make McDonald\u2019s chicken nuggets,\u201d and \u201chow to immigrate to\u2026\u201d insert dream destination.<br \/>\n<span id=\"more-16410\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A new report suggests that the most popular destination where people are looking to move abroad is Canada. The new study by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.remitly.com\/gb\/en\/landing\/where-the-world-wants-to-live\">Remitly<\/a>\u00a0analyzed the search volume of phrases related to moving abroad and immigration in over 100 countries.<\/p>\n<p>Canada topped the list with a whopping 29 countries who wish to immigrate to the North American nation. The following countries are those that are most interested in moving to Canada:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Belgium<\/li>\n<li>France<\/li>\n<li>Ireland<\/li>\n<li>United Kingdom<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Among North American nations, there were eight countries showing interest in immigrating to Canada:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Antigua and Barbuda<\/li>\n<li>Bahamas<\/li>\n<li>Barbados<\/li>\n<li>Belize<\/li>\n<li>Dominican Republic<\/li>\n<li>Grenada<\/li>\n<li>Jamaica<\/li>\n<li>Mexico<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The continent that is most interested in moving to Canada was Africa, with a total of 13 countries. For example, \u2018move to [destination], \u2018work in [destination] and live in [destination] were used.
