Maybe she should start the initiative,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 20px 0px;color: #000000;font-family: Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 14px\">In July 2016, Robredo was appointed as chair of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council. She resigned five months later after she was asked to stop attending Cabinet meetings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 20px 0px;color: #000000;font-family: Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 14px\">She was appointed as co-chair of the Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD) on October 31, 2019, but Duterte eventually fired her due to her alleged \u201cmissteps\u201d. She was supposed to serve as ICAD co-chair until June 30, 2022.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 20px 0px;color: #000000;font-family: Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 14px\">Robredo acknowledged the differences between her and Duterte, particularly in their style of governance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 20px 0px;color: #000000;font-family: Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 14px\">\u201cThis should not mean that there is no chance for us to work together for the betterment of the people, especially during times like these.
