MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Public utility vehicle drivers, especially those still unable to work due to the pandemic, may register with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) service contracting program starting Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The service contracting program allows PUV drivers to earn a steady income \u2014 PHP11 per kilometer for traditional and modern jeepneys and PHP23.<\/p>\n

10 for passenger buses aside from incentives or demerits based on service quality, commuter feedback, and performance of the driver.<\/p>\n

The PUV drivers who would like to avail of the program should bring the original and photocopies of their professional driver\u2019s license, a certificate signed by their operator that proves they are a designated PUV driver, two photocopies of their operator\u2019s valid ID (showing both front and back) with three signatures, and a photocopy of the official receipt or certificate of registration of their designated PUV.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
