KING RODRIGUEZ\/ PRESIDENTIAL PHOTO<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 President Rodrigo Duterte is looking forward to the end of his six-year term in June 2022 so that he could return to his hometown Davao City, Malaca\u00f1ang said Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque made this statement as Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo floated anew the idea of a Duterte-Duterte tandem in the 2022 elections when President Duterte could take on the vice presidency while his daughter and Davao City Mayor Sarah Duterte could run for president in the 2022 national and local elections.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAng pagkakaalam ko po eh atat na atat na si Presidenteng matapos ang kaniyang termino\u2019t gusto na niyang umuwi dito sa<\/em>\u00a0Davao\u00a0<em>\u2018no<\/em>. So<em>\u00a0iyong<\/em>\u00a0Duterte-Duterte tandem\u00a0<em>po na sinasabi ni<\/em>\u00a0Secretary Panelo,<em>\u00a0iyan po ay kaniyang<\/em>\u00a0personal\u00a0<em>na<\/em>\u00a0opinion (What I know is the President can\u2019t wait until the end of his term because he really wants to return to Davao.
