Rufus Rodriguez as deputy speaker to take the place of Capiz Rep. Fredenil Castro.<\/p>\n<p>The House elected Buhay Party-list Rep. Jose \u201cLito\u201d Atienza as deputy speaker to replace Laguna Rep. Dan Fernandez.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Las Pi\u00f1as City Rep. Camille Villar was elected deputy speaker, replacing Batangas Rep. Raneo Abu.<\/p>\n<p>The legislative chamber also elected Pampanga 2nd District Rep. Juan Miguel \u201cMikey\u201d Arroyo as chairman of the Committee on Energy; Caloocan City 1st District Rep. Dale \u201cAlong\u201d Malapitan as head of the House contingent to the House of Representatives Electoral Tribunal; and ACT-CIS Rep. Eric Go Yap as vice-chair of the Committee on Accounts.<\/p>\n<p>It also appointed Speaker Lord Allan Velasco as caretaker of Cebu City\u2019s 1st District in light of the death of Rep. Raul Del Mar.<\/p>\n<p>Velasco\u2019s designation as caretaker was \u201cupon the wishes of the late Rep.
