MANILA \u2013 Following the end of his long-running daytime teleserye \u201cBe Careful With My Heart,\u201d Richard Yap said that he is looking forward to new roles assigned to him.<\/p>\n

After the said daytime show is set to end on November 28<\/span>, Yap will soon find himself working on \u201cPraybeyt Benjamin 2,\u201d an official entry to the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival which he will star with Vice Ganda.<\/p>\n

He is not yet sure what his role will be in the said film, but according to the 47-year-old actor he is ready for whatever challenge.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to explore other roles,\u201d he said. \u201cI want to star in action films with a bit of humor \u2013 just like the movies of Liam Neeson.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aside from new projects, Yap is also looking forward to spend more quality time with his family.<\/p>\n

\u201cDue to hectic work schedules, we don\u2019t see each other often,\u201d Yap said referring to his children. \u201cWe see each other during breakfast, and that\u2019s about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said he plans to treat his family to a vacation in December or early next year to make up for their lost time.<\/p>\n

Yap also shared that he thanks his wife for her unwavering support, and also for not getting jealous of his onscreen partners.<\/p>\n
