Online caroling is okay but personal and face-to-face is not because we have yet to flatten the) curve (of coronavirus disease 2019),\u201d A\u00f1o said in a radio interview.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00f1o, who is also vice chair of the National Task Force Against Covid-19, said he would propose to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) a nationwide ban on face-to-face caroling this year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Hindi pa naman yan bawal kasi hindi pa nagkakaroon ng<\/em>\u00a0resolutio<em>n mula sa<\/em>\u00a0IATF<em>\u00a0pero yan na ang ating ire<\/em>-recommend.\u00a0<em>Yan din ang<\/em>\u00a0recommendation<em>\u00a0ng<\/em>\u00a0mayors<em>\u00a0natin sa<\/em>\u00a0NCR. (For now, it is not yet prohibited there is no IATF resolution yet but that is what we would recommend. That is also the recommendation of our mayors in the National Capital Region),\u201d A\u00f1o said.<\/p>\n<p>Metro Manila mayors have also earlier agreed to ban Christmas parties in the region this year as these could lead to mass gatherings which may result in a spike of Covid-19 cases.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Joint Task Force Covid Shield commander Lt. Gen.
