Ramon &#8216;Bong&#8217; Revilla Jr.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'arial narrow', sans-serif;\">MANILA &#8212; The Sandiganbayan recently allowed Sen. Ramon Revilla Jr. to acquire limited access to Benhur Luy\u2019s files in his external computer hard drive.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'arial narrow', sans-serif;\">Luy is the whistle-blower to the pork barrel scam in which Revilla is involved.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'arial narrow', sans-serif;\">The First Division of the anti-graft court decided yesterday that Revilla will not be allowed to copy all the contents of Luy\u2019s storage drive. Associate Justices Efren de la Cruz, Rodolfo Ponferrada and Rafael Lagos agreed to the decision. Thus, granting Revilla access to some parts that are connected with his plunder case.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'arial narrow', sans-serif;\">Earlier, the prosecution already opposed the request of the defense lawyers stating that the device also contains other files against other individuals who are charged or subjected to investigation by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Office of the Ombudsman.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'arial narrow', sans-serif;\">Revilla\u2019s lawyers including the representatives of former chief of staff Richard Cambe and Janet Lim-Napoles are insisting that they may be granted full access.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'arial narrow', sans-serif;\">The Sandiganbayan, however, ruled in favor of the prosecution.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA &#8212; The Sandiganbayan recently allowed Sen.
