(<a href=\"https:\/\/lac-group.com\/leadership\/mario-theriault\/\">File: LAC Group<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>OTTAWA \u2013 October 27, 2020 \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Today, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce announced the election of Mario Th\u00e9riault, Chief Business Development Officer of LAC Group, as its Chair of its board of directors for 2020-2021.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Th\u00e9riault\u2019s election brings to the Canadian Chamber a unique blend of business leadership, growth strategies and expertise in competitive intelligence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMario\u2019s substantial experience as an entrepreneur helping businesses grow brings to the Canadian Chamber an invigorating injection of modern entrepreneurial spirit, a true reflection of the innovative drive of our members. His deep understanding of what Canadian businesses need to succeed will be invaluable to the work of the entire chamber network,\u201d said Perrin Beatty, President and CEO of the Canadian Chamber.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Th\u00e9riault oversees all aspects of growth strategy, partnership and alliance programs for LAC Group, a North American research and competitive intelligence firm based in Moncton, New Brunswick. Mr. Th\u00e9riault brings to his position his passion for insight from his career as a journalist and his deep experience in branding and marketing from close to 30 years spent in the information and competitive intelligence sectors. Prior to LAC\u2019s acquisition of ShiftCentral, Mario was Founder and CEO of ShiftCentral and continuously evolved the company to emphasize the importance of strategic, curated intelligence to solve clients validated business needs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Canadian Chamber of Commerce is the gold standard of business associations, whose history is inextricably woven into the building of our country.
