MANILA\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013\u00a0<\/strong>The San Juan city government on Saturday distributed residents washable and reusable face masks as part of the national government’s “Mask Para sa Masa” program to contain the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic.<\/p>\n Mayor Francis Zamora said the city government has received 88,000 reusable face masks and personal protective equipment (PPE) sets from the national government’s Covid-19 Coordinated Operations to Defeat Epidemic (CODE) team, which will be distributed to each household in 21 barangays.<\/p>\n Zamora said the residents need not worry about complying with the health and safety protocols against Covid-19 as the city government has started the distribution of the free face masks.<\/p>\n The city government has initially rolled out the distribution of free face masks to the residents of Barangays West Crame and Sta.
