(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MNS.GOV.UA\/photos\/a.369362566414983\/4770684962949366\/\">Photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MNS.GOV.UA\/\">\u0414\u0421\u041d\u0421 \u0423\u043a\u0440\u0430\u0457\u043d\u0438\/Facebook<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>KIEV<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The death toll from a military plane crash near Kharkiv has reached 25, a statement by the chief prosecutor in Ukraine said early Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecutor\u2019s office said an investigation has been launched into the crash of an AN-26 type military plane that also severely injured two people.<\/p>\n<p>Kharkiv Governor Oleksiy Kucher said the plane crashed while landing and those who were injured jumped from the aircraft as it approached the ground.<\/p>\n<p>Kucher also said the pilot notified officials before the crash that the left engine was not working.
