The cast of the Philippine remake of “Descendants of the Sun” shared heartful posts on their respective social media accounts as the filming for the series has come to an end.<\/p>\n

In his Instagram post, Dingdong Dantes, who played Captain Lucas Manalo a.k.a Big Boss, gave a “snappy salute” to his leading lady, Jennylyn Mercado, for her “excellent and effective performance,” as he shared a photo of them doing a script reading together with director Dominic Zapata.<\/p>\n

“Today, we finished our taping for DotsPH, and we\u2019re set to bring back fresh episodes soon,” the actor said.<\/p>\n

He posted another photo of his boots he had been wearing for almost a year, saying, “it is time to loosen these laces to make way for the next journey.”<\/p>\n
