But we will not give up). We will not bow our heads because of Covid-19,\u201d Tugade said.<\/p>\n<p>He said the project will begin partial operation from the Valenzuela station to the North Avenue station in Quezon City by December 2021, while the rest of the project is seen to be completed by 2024 or 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Bakit<\/em>\u00a0partial operability<em>\u00a0sa<\/em>\u00a0Valenzuela?<em>\u00a0Kasi ho nandiyan yung<\/em>\u00a0depot,\u00a0<em>nandiyan yung<\/em>\u00a0first station,\u00a0<em>at higit sa lahat, nandiyan ho yung<\/em>\u00a0Philippine Railway Institute sa Valenzuela (Why to begin partial operation in Valenzuela? Because there is the depot, the first station, at most of all, the Philippine Railway Institute in Valenzuela),\u201d Tugade said.<\/p>\n<p>Transportation Undersecretary Timothy \u201cTJ\u201d Batan said the challenges posed by the pandemic include social distancing during its construction and the requirements of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>&#8216;Yung<\/em>\u00a0requirement\u00a0<em>natin na magdagdag ng tao at mag<\/em>-expand<em>\u00a0ng mga<\/em>\u00a0barracks.\u00a0<em>Para yung mga<\/em>\u00a0in-house<em>\u00a0na<\/em>\u00a0construction workers\u00a0<em>ng ating mga<\/em>\u00a0contractors can avoid\u00a0<em>&#8216;yung<\/em>\u00a0contact\u00a0<em>nila sa labas<\/em>\u00a0(The requirement to add more personnel and expand barracks.
