(File <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/OSTON1994\/photos\/a.2374936182750466\/2629799650597450\/?type=3&amp;theater\">photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/OSTON1994\/\">Ospital ng Tondo &#8211; City of Manila\/Facebook<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The Ospital ng Tondo in Manila is temporarily closed after 32 of its medical frontliners were confirmed positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).<\/p>\n<p>In a radio interview on Friday, Mayor Francisco &#8216;Isko Moreno&#8217; Domagoso announced that the hospital will be closed for 10 days.<\/p>\n<p>Domagoso said he was informed of the situation at the hospital by its director, Dra. Myrna Lacson-Paloma late Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>May<\/em>\u00a0request\u00a0<em>ang aming<\/em>\u00a0director\u00a0<em>sapagkat meron kaming<\/em>\u00a032 patient\u00a0<em>na<\/em>\u00a0doctor\u00a0<em>at<\/em>\u00a0nurses<em>\u00a0ng aming sariling ospital. This is to at least relax the situation because the patients are the doctors and the nurses themselves. This is to give them time to recover),\u201d Domagoso said.<\/p>\n<p>He added that currently, most of these health care workers are recovering.<\/p>\n<p>Domagoso said the hospital will not be accepting any new patients while it is closed, except for emergency life and death situations.<\/p>\n<p>Otherwise, other new patients will be directed to the other five public hospitals in the city namely the Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center, Justice Jose Abad Santos General Hospital (JJASGH), Ospital ng Maynila, Ospital ng Sampaloc, and the Sta.
