Alfiler)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Metro Manila Council (MMC) chairperson and Para\u00f1aque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez on Thursday said he expects the region to soon shift into general community quarantine due to a decline in the number of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) active cases.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with morning show Unang Hirit, Olivarez said their current data showed a decline in the number of active cases in Para\u00f1aque as compared to data from before the shift to a modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) on August 4.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWay back on August 4,\u00a0<em>ang ating mga<\/em>\u00a0active cases within the city of Para\u00f1aque\u00a0<em>umaabot po ng<\/em>\u00a0876.\u00a0<em>Ngayon po, ang<\/em>\u00a0data<em>\u00a0namin kahapon ay<\/em>\u00a0651\u00a0<em>yung<\/em>\u00a0aming active cases (our active cases in Para\u00f1aque reached 876.
