(Pixabay file photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Netflix, the world\u2019s leading streaming entertainment service, has confirmed the production of new Korean original series\u00a0<em>Undercover<\/em>\u00a0(working title)<em>.<\/em>\u00a0Director Kim Jin-min, whose acclaimed series\u00a0<em>Extracurricular<\/em>\u00a0took the first half of 2020 by storm, will reunite with Netflix for\u00a0<em>Undercover<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0<em>Undercover<\/em>, a mobster\u2019s daughter named Ji-u joins a cartel and becomes a mole in the police force to seek the truth behind her father\u2019s death. The series will also portray the psyche of Ji-u as she seeks her revenge.<\/p>\n<p>Director Kim Jin-min, whose brilliant skills were displayed in\u00a0<em>Lawless Lawyer<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Time Between Dog and Wolf<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Marriage Contract<\/em>, recently took audiences on a journey into the dark side of teens and the harsh realities of society in the smash-hit\u00a0<em>Extracurricular.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Undercover<\/em>\u00a0will be written by Kim Ba-da (<em>Life Risking Romance<\/em>,\u00a0<em>The Huntresses<\/em>), and produced by Fleet Co., Ltd, the production house behind\u00a0<em>Lucky Romance<\/em>,\u00a0<em>My Sassy Girl<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Another Child<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Netflix<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Netflix is the world&#8217;s leading streaming entertainment service with over 193 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, documentaries and feature films across a wide variety of genres and languages.
