ALAMINOS CITY, Pangasinan \u2013 The Hundred Islands National Park (HINP) here will be reopened to residents of Pangasinan starting August 8 provided they comply with set requirements and health protocols.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In an interview Friday, city tourism officer Miguel Sison said only residents of Pangasinan whose age ranges from 21 to 59 shall be allowed to visit the HINP.<\/div>\n

\u201cGuests should present health certificates proving they are free of any of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) symptoms and valid identification cards or documents as evidence of their age and residence. Travel authority may likewise be required when presented aforementioned requirements are insufficient,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n

Sison said guests shall register individually using the manifest form and shall be subjected to the standard temperature check and hand and foot sanitation at the designated area determined by the City Tourism Office.<\/div>\n

There shall be no guest who will be allowed to tour around the Lucap Park or at the premises of the designated point of entries prior to the registration, he added.<\/div>\n

Wearing face masks and temperature checks are required.<\/div>\n

\u201cIn case the temperature reaches beyond 37.5 C, he\/she shall automatically be denied from entering the HINP and other premises, be immediately held at an isolation area while the city health officer on the other hand shall conduct necessary health and safety measures,\u201d Sison said.<\/div>\n

While each individual shall be subjected to the hand and foot sanitation, only the designated one person per group representative shall be allowed to transact for the payment of fees for those who shall enter through the Lucap Park Tourism Office, he said.<\/div>\n

The activities available are swimming, banana boat ride, prayers for Stations of the Cross, helmet diving, trekking, cliff jumping at Marcos Island, island hopping, and zip line.<\/div>\n

Sison added the disinfection of the boats, islands, and other areas is done daily to ensure the safety of tourists, while tourists are highly encouraged to strictly observe standard health protocols.<\/div>\n

A maximum of 1,000 guests shall be accommodated per day distributed as follows per point of entry –Lucap Park, 750 guests; Bued, 150 guests; and Bolo, 100 guests.<\/div>\n
